Matt Abbott serves as the Executive Director for the Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority (ZMCPA). He is a graduate of John Glenn High School, Muskingum University, BA and Salem University, M.Ed. In 2019, he received certification as an Ohio Certified Economic Developer through the Ohio Economic Development Institute. Prior to joining the ZMCPA, Abbott was a school administrator in Muskingum County. He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce, Genesis Healthcare Finance Committee, the Bethesda Hospital Board of Directors, the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Advisory Board, Zane State College Advisory Board, Genesis Pro-Am Committee, and Vice President of the East Muskingum Local School Board.
Matt and his wife Lindsay reside in New Concord, and have three young children, Hadley, Blake and Cade.
Amy Young serves as the Business Development Specialist for the the Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority (ZMCPA). Prior to joining the ZMCPA, she worked for State Farm and in the tax industries. She is a graduate of Coshocton High School, attended Baldwin Wallace College and the University of Alaska, and earned a Grant Writing Certification through Cleveland State University. Amy is a past-president of the Zanesville Soccer Boosters and currently serves on the Zanesville City Schools Planning Committee.
Amy and her husband Craig reside in Zanesville, and have two adult children, Fletcher and Katie.
