Muskingum County is home to six public school districts and one private school. All of the Districts meet or exceed the State of Ohio average graduation rate. The majority of the schools provide the option for Advanced Placement Courses, as well as offering students the ability to take advantage of post-secondary opportunities at Ohio University Zanesville, Zane State College, or within their own building.
